The Coin Adventurer Visits A Silver Mint To See Silver Rounds Made

August 19th, 2013 by

Today’s episode of The Coin Adventurer takes me to one of the mints that supplies Gainesville Coins with some of our most popular silver rounds and silver bars. I get to see the entire minting process, from design and die-cutting, to smelting 10,000 ounces of silver in a batch, to the extruding and rolling process, and finally the finished minted product.

This is the best adventure I’ve had yet! Be sure to catch new episodes of The Coin Adventurer every Monday, and remember —

“It’s all about the shinies!”
